This file lists the full intra-country numbering plan of your selected country, sourced from the locally-administered National Numbering Plan. It identifies the capital city of the country, and includes city name, state, province or region, LATA, access digits for toll, international or other services, all coordinates or latitude and longitude as available, GMT offset information, Daylight Savings Time start and end dates, ITU country abbreviations, type of point (standard trunk, cellular, etc.) and many other data items.
The product is efficient for multinational rating and routing applications. In operator services applications, an operator can enter any phone number worldwide and receive in return specific information regarding the city name and country that is being called. Additionally, the GMT offset and Daylight Savings Time information can be used to calculate local time in that city. The file contains a non-abbreviated city name which facilitates searches by city name for directory assistance and other inquiries, such as extracting a list of area codes and city codes that serve a particular city or region.
