This database contains one or more entries for each country in the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) World Numbering Plan, and is capable of supporting worldwide rating and high-level routing determinations. As permitted in the local dialing plan, the file includes a record for each area code in the country records for any special area codes such as toll-free, premium services, telex, cellular, PCS, inbound only and others. Information includes a description of the area code, access digits for toll, international or other services, country abbreviation, state or province and many other data items.
